BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sharing naked pictures of a woman on Twitter. Because she was 14-years-old when they were taken, he was charged with Pornography Involving Juveniles.
The LSU Police Department reports that its office was contacted by the victim, who is a student at the university, on Jan. 2, 2013 regarding an incident involving her ex-boyfriend. She told investigators that her ex, Kameryon Keyon Brown, of Baker, posted the pictures on Twitter after the two were involved in an argument.
We’re told the victim became aware that the pictures had been posted after several people contacted her. The pictures, she said, were taken when she was juvenile and she had sent them to her ex voluntarily via text message.
Brown was questioned by investigators and he admitted to having sent the picture to friends via text message, but denied posting it to Twitter. Brown then consented to a search of his cell phone, at which time the picture in question was located.
Due to the age of the victim at the time the picture was taken, Brown was arrested. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
