Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — LSU is looking to remain competitive in the ever-changing higher education landscape.
The institution has decided to form the Transition Advisory Team.
The ten member panel will focus on how best to improve the university's performance rankings and how it delivers services to students. This is in addition to trying to improve research and discovery at the university.
“It's the beginning of a very comprehensive process that which would put LSU in a position to be world class in all that we do, not only organizationally, but operationally," stated Hank Danos, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.
The ten members were appointed by Interim President and Chancellor William Jenkins. They were approved at a meeting of the board last month.
