Online publication hopes to spread the word about Ascension Parish

ASCENSION PARISH, LA (NBC33) — There's a new online paper geared toward keeping people in Ascension Parish in-the-know.

It's called The Creole and it’s been up and running for about a week now. Editor-in-Chief Charlote Guedry writes each story with her neighbors in mind. She says a lot goes on in Ascension and people want the scoop.

“What's really good about it is we have so much community news in our parish - we have people doing really amazing things in our community,” she said. “It's an absolute pleasure to give them the recognition they deserve.”
