NBC NATIONAL NEWS — GM is recalling nearly 55,000 SUVs, trucks and vans.
The vehicles are 2012 models; these vehicles may have a broken lock cable or issues with the steering column.
The flaw could cause your car to slip out of park.
The recall includes certain Cadillac Escalades, Chevy Suburbans and Tahoes, GMC Yukons and Sierras.
So far, no crashes or injuries have been reported. The company has said owners of affected vehicles will be notified by the end of this month.
