Child calls police while parents were fighting, man arrested for domestic abuse

EUNICE, LA (NBC33) — A man was arrested for domestic abuse after a child called police out of fear.

The Eunice Police Department reports that the incident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1. We’re told the child called 911 because of the argument between the parents.

When officers arrived they found a 33-year-old female suffering from injuries to her face.

Police arrested Dominique Lager, 21, for Domestic Abuse Battery.
