THIBODAUX, LA — A man was arrested on drug charges in Thibodaux after a routine traffic stop led to a search of his car.
On Thursday afternoon, December 27, around 1:30 p.m. Thibodaux Police Officers stopped Lyons’ vehicle after it failed to stop at a stop sign on Plantation and Ridgefield.
Officers, smelling marijuana, searched the vehicle and located 31 bags of marijuana.
Terrance Lyons, 29, was charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Warrant for Failure to Appear in Terrebonne District Court, Stop Sign Violation, and Driving Under Suspension.
Lyons was arrested, and transported to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where he is being held.
