NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Ford is creating more than 2,000 jobs at new plants in southeast Michigan.
The carmaker announced it's investing more than $773 million on new equipment and production capacity in a half-dozen facilities.
It's all part of Ford's plans to add 12,000 hourly jobs in the U.S. and invest more than $6 billion in U.S. plants, both by 2015.
A Ford executive says as they wrap up an incredibly busy year of capacity expansions and production launches, they're continuing to look to the future.
