Baton Rouge, La — The ALS Association Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter will host its fourth annual Fire & Ice Gala January 19 at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge. All proceeds will go to the fight against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a visit from honorary chairman Coach Paul Mainieri, head coach for the LSU Baseball Team. Guests will also enjoy a sit-down dinner and a tribute to PALS (persons living with ALS). The program will include recognition of several loyal supporters of the chapter. This year’s honorees are Kevin and Kim Kelty, Wright & Percy Insurance, the Credit Bureau of Baton Rouge Foundation, and Avery Vodanovich.
The evening will also feature a silent auction and a live auction led by professional auctioneer Brian Fourroux. After dinner, guests can dance the night away to the sounds of Artemis, a seven-piece band that plays classic rock, blues, country, funk and more.
Tickets are available for $125 for an individual, $225 for a couple and $1,000 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are still available.
