BALL, LA — Agents with the Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit and the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday arrested a Ball man for possessing child pornography, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.
Billie McCann, Jr., 50, of Ball, La. was booked into the Rapides Parish Prison following a joint investigation. McCann’s arrest occurred as a result of evidence found on his computer during the execution of a search warrant at his residence. He is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.
If convicted, McCann could face up to 20 years in prison.
