BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Two LSU researchers are changing the way we see food. They made an app that provides more accurate information about what you eat.
The way it works is that you take a photo of whatever is on your plate. The software analyzes the picture, determines what the food is and how big your portion is, then gives you nutritional information instantly.
Not only will the app help you make better choices for yourself, it will also provide real-time data for researchers who want to study people's eating habits.
