Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — It's been a Baton Rouge favorite for two decades, and this year, "A Gift For Lymann Bourke" is back in the Capitol City.
Actor and comedian Jamie Wax wrote the one man musical twenty years ago, and in the years since then, it has become a holiday tradition for many Baton Rouge families.
Wax was working so much in New York City last year that Lymann had to take a year off from the show in Baton Rouge. This year, he's back and ready to celebrate twenty years in the place where it all began.
"I haven't performed at the Baton Rouge Little Theatre in almost eight years, and this is where I premiered the show 20 years ago, which is hard for me to believe," stated Wax.
