NBC News — A spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry tuesday voiced his country's concern over the deployment of NATO Patriot missiles in Turkey. The ministry spokesman called the move a quote, "provocative act" that could endanger the region's stability and security.
The U.S. has announced it will send two batteries of the Patriot anti-missile system as part of a larger NATO force to protect Turkish territory from potential Syrian missile attacks. Iran warned on saturday against the deployment.
