Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — After two separate drives, many needy people in the Baton Rouge area have supplies they need thanks to you.
The NBC33 Holiday Collection Drive brought in lots of personal hygiene items. Those items will be used at the St. Vincent de Paul shelter here in Baton Rouge.
Michael Acaldo, the director of St. Vincent de Paul, says the Holidays will be much easier because of your generosity.
“We collected 1000’s and 1000’s of items - we can’t thank WVLA and Fox44 enough. It was awesome,” stated Acaldo. “I can tell you stuff continues to come in and continues to make a difference for needy and homeless families, right here in our community.”
If you'd still like to help out, you donations are more than welcome; donators can drop off items at the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter.
