Two arrested on battery charges

ST. MARTINVILLE, LA — With the assistance of the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, Investigators with St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Damion Dequincy Morgan, 21, and Trellen Waseika Hamilton, 17, both of Lafayette, following a domestic disturbance at a St. Martin Parish residence late Wednesday night.

Morgan and Hamilton struck the victim with a dangerous weapon, causing non-life threatening injuries.

Damion Morgan was booked on Aggravated Second Degree Battery (domestic) with a bond of $150,000.00 and Trellen Hamilton was booked on Aggravated Second Degree Battery on a $100,000 bond.
