TANGIPAHOA PARISH, LA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your assistance in locating Esteband Delgado Garcia, a 31-year-old Hispanic male of Tickfaw, for the fatal shooting of Mauricio Hernandez Cornejo (DOB unknown) which occurred yesterday at approximately 4:30 pm.
Garcia and Cornejo are known enemies and were reported to have had a serious physical confrontation prior to yesterday’s incident. At this time Investigators believe that the shooting could be the result of retaliation from the prior incident.
Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents are assisting us with this investigation.
