NBC News — Cuban President Raul Castro thursday commented on his country's relationship with the U.S. Speaking to parliament, Castro said that his government is open to engaging with America in a quote "respectful dialogue based on sovereign equality."
In his speech Castro also commented on the health of controversial Venezuelan Hugo Chavez. Castro expressed his continuing support for Chavez, wishing him good health. Chavez is being treated for an undisclosed cancer in Cuba.
