Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — For the first time since learning their post-season destination. LSU Head Coach Les Miles spoke to reporters about the team’s matchup with Clemson.
Today, Miles along with Athletic Director Joe Alleva and Chick-Fil-A Bowl executives formally extended the offer to the Tigers for their New Year’s Eve bowl game.
Miles explained how Atlanta is an ideal city to ring in the new year with his team and family, which is something he hopes tigers fans consider doing as well.
"(I get to) play a game with my favorite team, leave about 10:30, freshen up a little bit, go twirl my sweetheart around, and you know, I might get a kiss," stated Miles.
The Tigers resume practice this week. They'll be back on the gridiron for the first time since their regular season finale against Arkansas on Black Friday.
