St. George Fire Department to start Christmas Parades this weekend

BATON ROUGE, LA — The St. George Fire Department will conduct its Santa Parades on the first two weekends of December: December 1 & 2 and December 8 & 9.

They will parade Santa through the neighborhoods of the District. Also participating in the parades are the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank (collecting non-perishable food items) and Christmas for Challenged Children (collecting new, unwrapped gifts for children ages infant to 17 years).

Parades begin on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and on Sundays at noon. They will run until dusk each day.
