HERITAGE, the Baton Rouge-based ensemble dedicated to the preservation and performance of the Negro spiritual, will present its Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 3912 Gus Young Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802-1727. at 4:00pm. The concert will include Christmas Spirituals as well as excerpts from “My Soul’s Emancipation” which is a Christmas Cantata written and conducted by HERITAGE’s Founder and Director, Mr. Clarence Jones.
