Baton Rouge, La — Lions and tigers and bears…in LIGHTS! The Baton Rouge Zoo presents ZooLights, a holiday tradition in Baton Rouge.
Beginning on Friday, visitors can enjoy the lights and displays of all their favorite Zoo animals and holiday traditions.
“ZooLights is a unique way to experience the Zoo,” said Zoo Director Phil Frost. “Not many people are used to seeing a 30 ft. elephant in lights! The Zoo is a place where families can spend time with one another, and we hope that ZooLights will become a part of families’ traditions.”
The Zoo added more lights and more activities this year. Activities include getting your photo made with "Safari Santa", ornament decorating (zoo animal ornaments of course!) and an exhibit called "Art Gone Wild". Visitors actually cast their ballots for the winners of "Art Gone Wild".
