NBC News — Israel continued to hit targets across the Gaza Strip sunday night. One of the strikes hit the home of a family, two children and two adults were reportedly killed.
The Israeli military said its aircraft targeted about 80 militant sites, including underground rocket-launching sites, smuggling tunnels and training bases, as well as command posts and weapons storage facilities located in buildings owned by militant commanders. In all, 1,350 targets have been struck since the operation began last wednesday. Eighty-four Palestinians, half of them civilians, have been killed in the five days of fighting.
