GULF OF MEXICO (NBC33) — The Coast Guard said they've stopped searching for a worker that went missing after Friday morning's platform explosion and fire in the Gulf of Mexico.
The owner of the platform, Black Elk Energy, said they've brought in an additional team to keep the search going.
The body of one of the people believed to be missing was found late Saturday.
The Coast Guard said there is no oil leaking from the platform. Experts say the sheen that was spotted could evaporate in a few days.
