BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — UPDATE: Christopher Hymes turned himself in to Detectives and was booked into the parish prison for 5 counts Attempted First-Degree Murder, 1 count Armed Robbery, 1 count Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and Illegal Use of a Firearm.
Russell is still at large.
ORIGINAL: A second suspect has been identified for a possible connection to a shooting that left one man injured.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is looking for Eric L. Russell, 20, of Baton Rouge. They are also seeking Christopher Hymes, 19. [1]
The incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 9 at roughly 6:30 p.m. on the 5900 block of Atlanta Street. We’re told one man was injured in the shooting.
