BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — People who depend on CATS to get them around say the man hired to "protect and serve" them is doing nothing of the sort.
A 20 year veteran with the Baton Rouge Police Department is accused of harassing, threatening, and making riders feel "unsafe." This isn’t the first time this Lieutenant has been investigated for similar claims.
NBC33’s Brix Fowler looked into the allegations after hearing of the complaints. Today that officer has been reassigned from his extra-duty post at the CATS terminal.
