NBC News — Toyota has raised its earnings forecast citing strong sales in North America and southeast Asian countries. The automaker estimates that profits for this fiscal year will total more than $13 billion.
That's up 5 percent from its previous projection. The company also says it increased profits are due to several cost-cutting initiatives.
