Illinois man charged with 15th DUI, facing 30 years

ELGIN, IL (WGN) — A 54-year-old Elgin man is in Kane County Jail charged with drunk driving -- again.

The man is believed to be charged with the same crime over 15 times according to the Sun-Times.

He's known as Juan Diaz, but police say he may have eluded them by using more than a half dozen aliases.

Diaz could face 30-years in prison with no chance of probation.

He's charged under an Illinois law that classifies a sixth DUI conviction as a class X felony.
