BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — With 24 hours left until kickoff, LSU fans are already deep into their pregame preparations.
Fans began putting up their tents and blocking out space this morning.
LSU is expected to lose by more than a touchdown, but that didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm around campus. Students we spoke with today said this is the most-anticipated game they can remember. And many fans said they'll be louder than usual because they want revenge for last year's championship game.
"The Tigers - this is like crossing a river,” Dave Moran, LSU fan, said. “They didn't make it across the river that time. We're going to make it across this time, though. We're going to get a little wet, but we're going to cross that river and come out fighting."
With the buildup for this game and the large crowd, you'll want to give yourself extra time tomorrow if you're driving to or near campus.
