BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Tomorrow could bring big changes to the future of the LSU system. The Board of Supervisors is expected to vote on restructuring the entire system.
Currently, the campuses in Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Eunice, and Shreveport are all run independently, as are the medical school and the hospital system. But the board is considering bringing them all under common leadership. This comes just one week after the board voted to combine the positions of president and chancellor of the main campus.
The board will vote on Friday, Nov. 2. NBC33 News will be at that meeting. We will post instant updates via our Facebook [1] and Twitter [2] account.
