BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Southern University Law Center is holding a Halloween Carnival to give kids an alternative to trick-or-treating.
The carnival will begin on Halloween night at 4:00 p.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m. It will be held at the A.W. Mumford Practice Field located on Southern University’s campus.
The goal of the event is to provide kids with a safe alternative to trick-or-treating. Activities include a bounce house, pony rides, face painting, carnival games, prizes and of course, CANDY!
The carnival was organized by the Southern University Student Government along with the Student Bar Association. The event is free and open to the public.
All the candy and treats were donated by William Casanova, a third year law student, and Jackie Casanova of Church Point Wholesale.
