ANGIE, LA — A Washington Parish man has been arrested and charged with 20 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.
Agents arrested Joseph Lloyd Gerald, 23, of Angie, La. on Friday following a multi-agency investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. Gerald was booked into the Washington Parish Jail without incident.
Gerald is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.
