Former EBRSO prison employee arrested for bringing contraband to an inmate

BATON ROUGE, LA — A former employee with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office was arrested today for Malfeasance and Entering Contraband into a Penal Facility.

Danita Lillie, 44, was employed with the Sheriff's Office for the past 2 years working in security at the parish prison.

According to reports, Lillie allegedly brought a cell phone, cigarettes and batteries into the prison to an inmate to whom she said she was attracted. Lille was terminated and will be booked into parish prison on the above listed charges.
