NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A Houston, Texas woman has been accused of ordering her daughter to beat up a teenage girl.
Kimberly Holleman has been charged with injury to a child.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said Holleman took her daughter to a 13-year-old girl's home on Saturday and told her to attack the girl.
"I can't even imagine or understand how a mother could do that with a child," said the 13-year-old girl's mother, who didn't want to be identified.
The mother said she found Holleman, Holleman's daughter and strangers surrounding her child.
"She attacked and was pounding on her face," the mother said.
Neighbor David Skaggs witnessed the attack.
He said he tried to break it up, but it wasn't easy.
"I had to physically pull her off," Skaggs said. "I was kind of worried because these gentlemen that came with her tried to jump on me."
Skaggs said Holleman brought five heavily-tattooed men with her to keep the fight from being broken up.
He said he stood his ground and Holleman, who appeared intoxicated, left with her daughter.
The 13-year-old girl suffered several bruises.
Holleman and her daughter were picked up by sheriff's deputies in Crosby on Wednesday morning.
Investigators have not said if Holleman's daughter will face charges.
