BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — When it comes to classic rock, Led Zeppelin is king. For two nights only you can watch a theatrical screening of the most demanded concert in history by the iconic rock group.
On December 10, 2007, Led Zeppelin performed to 18,000 people at London’s O2 Arena. However, 20 million people applied for tickets. For that reason the band’s first headlining show in 27 years will be released for all to see.
Founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from their celebrated catalog including landmark tracks "Whole Lotta Love," "Rock And Roll," "Kashmir," and "Stairway To Heaven."
Only three theaters in Louisiana will show the landmark concert. You can catch the show here in Baton Rouge at Cinemark Perkins Rowe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 18.
