Bossier City, La (KMSS) — A Bossier City man is cleared of murder after new information surfaced in his case.
Two juveniles will now face murder charges after detectives discovered they were the alleged murderers, not Taurus Trammel Carter, 22, of Bossier City, according to Bossier City Police.
Carter had been accused of the fatal shooting of LeShia Winbush, 21, at his home on September 23.
The two Bossier City teens, both 16, were arrested late Friday night on first degree murder charges. Authorities believe one of the two shot Winbush while they were burglarizing the house.
The juveniles were booked into the Bossier Juvenile Detention Center. Louisiana law prohibits the release of the names of juvenile criminal suspects.
