EUNICE, LA (NBC33) — A Eunice mother was none too pleased when she was called to her child’s school for a discipline issue. However, instead of reprimanding her child, she allegedly became violent and physically assaulted the school’s principal.
The Eunice Police Department reports that the incident took place on Thursday, Oct. 11 at roughly 3:30 p.m. at Central Middle School.
Officials say Jennifer Richardson, 34, was called to the school due to disciplinary action towards her child. The victim says Richardson was argumentative and then physically struck her during the discussion. Officers who responded say the principal did have visible marks to the face.
Richardson was arrested for Battery of a School Teacher. She was booked in the Eunice City Jail. Her bond is set at $3,000.
Richardson has two prior arrests for shoplifting and one for aggravated battery.
