BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A six unit apartment building caught fire last night and suffered serious damage. No one was injured, however, a dog rescued did have to be revived due to smoke inhalation.
The St. George Fire Department was called to the apartment complex on Ridge Oak Drive at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10. When they arrived the fire had spread from the first to the second floor. By the time the fire was extinguished, four out of the six units had sustained serious to moderate damage.
Investigators are currently working to determine a cause for the fire.
