Addis, LA (NBC33) — In Addis, U.S. Congress Representative Bill Cassidy talked politics today.
He addressed the West Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce on a variety of issues, ranging from the upcoming election to unemployment.
He also discussed the federal debt and the need to better develop natural resources in the United States. Those who attended the luncheon liked what they heard.
"I was very encouraged,” said attendee Wilfred Barry. “I think he's very engaging. He is very demonstrative. He loves to talk with his hands, is a very interesting speaker and is a very good talker."
Cassidy also talked about the educational issues, such as the "No Child Left Behind" act.
