Chicago, IL (WGN) — A prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office has been placed on administrative leave for biting a worker at the adult store Taboo Tabou.
A customer at the store videotaped her arrest and posted the video on YouTube which has now received more than 6,000 views.
Mark Thomas, the owner of the store, says moments before the videotaped arrest, 31-year-old Sarah Naughton walked into the lingerie adult store apparently intoxicated and became belligerent. Thomas says she was being loud, cursing and banging on windows. At one point her companion shoved a worker and the two sides began to argue.
Naughton fell to the ground and bit the employee in the leg.
She's been charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal trespass.
WGN tried to contact her but our calls were not returned.
Thomas, the owner of the store, issued this statement, "If anybody else had broken the skin of an individual it would`ve been a felony. We need a blood test from her to make sure our employee is not infected with anything."
Naughton is on administrative leave from the Cook County Prosecutor's Office and will not be allowed to litigate cases. She's been on the job since 2008.
