Bossier City PD investigating woman's death as homicide

Bossier City, La (kmss) — Bossier City police are investigating an alleged shooting that left a young woman dead Sunday night.

At 10:20 p.m., police and fire officials were dispatched to a house in the 600 block of Patton Street to reports of a shooting. When authorities arrived, they found a woman, later identified as Leshia Winbush, 21, of Bossier City, dead inside the house.

Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide.
