New Orleans, LA — A New Orleans resident has been booked into the Orleans Parish Prison on one count of pornography involving juveniles.
Agents arrested James Waidell Ernest, 25, on Thursday following a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime and Fugitive Apprehension Units, Homeland Security Investigations, and the New Orleans Police Department.
Ernest is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
