BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge man is in the hospital with a life threatening injury after he was shot last night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the man was found on Levera Street shortly before midnight. The victim was reportedly suffering from more than one gunshot. However, officials did not say where his wounds were located, only that they were life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently recovering. An update on his condition was not provided.
Investigators have determined that the shooting actually started in the 4100 block of North Foster Drive, but the injured suspect fled to Levera Street, which is roughly one block away from where the incident happened.
