Bay Village, OH (WJW) — A federal administrative law judge was arrested for allegedly driving drunk shortly after midnight Sunday.
Police arrested Judge Michael Bartko after a motorist called 911 to report a car driving erratically at Bassett Road and Windsor Drive in Bay Village. After stopping his black BMW and testing his blood alcohol level, police reported it was nearly four times the legal limit.
Bartko has been charged with OVI, driving with a blood alcohol limit over .17, stopping or driving at a slow rate of speed and driving left of center. His lawyer has entered a not guilty plea for the incident on this behalf.
The judge presides over Medicare payment disputes.
