NEW IBERIA, LA (NBC33) — Three employees at a business in Iberia Parish were tied up and robbed at gunpoint.
The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident occurred on Sunday, Sept. 16 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Deputies responded to the business on W. Old Spanish Trail road and learned that two men entered the business wearing masks and gloves. The men ordered the three employees together and then tied them up so they could not escape. We’re told that one employee was struck by one of the suspects and sustained minor injuries.
The suspects managed to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. We’re told the suspects were last seen headed towards Darby Lane. Officials did not provide a description of the suspects.
