Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Communications at the Louisiana Workforce Commission have been hindered by Isaac.
Electricity, phone, and internet access was lost earlier this afternoon; that means people filing unemployment claims weren't able to do so - online or on the phone.
Obviously, that problem will continue until phone service and power are back up.
Officials have not estimated when that might be.
