The new LSU student body president came into office with big plans earlier this week. J Hudson and his administration became the new student government last Wednesday and they're already getting to work. Hudson says the most important issues facing the school right now are cuts to higher education. More cuts mean larger class sizes and less staff availability, something that has students worried.
The previous student body president presented a plan to the legislature several weeks back in hopes of raising tuition and giving the cuts a rest.
Hudson says he'll stick with that plan, but he'd also like to organize a peaceful march on the capital.
