Three suspects in St. John Parish officers shootings plead not guilty

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La (NBC33) — Three of the seven suspects in the St. John shootings plead not guilty in court today.

Brian Smith and Kyle Joekel are both charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder of a Police Officer and three counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder of a Police Officer.

Britney Keith is facing two counts of Principal to First-degree Murder of a Police Officer and three counts of Principal to Attempted First-Degree Murder of a Police Officer.

The trio all entered their pleas this morning.
