Tickfaw, La — A joint investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Tickfaw man accused of possession of child pornography.
Jerald Dickey, 56, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail for possession of pornography involving juveniles.
The multi-agency investigation was led by the Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit and the Slidell Police Department with assistance from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
Dickey is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
