BATON ROUGE, LA — LSU Police Investigators have made an arrest in the incident at Patrick Taylor Hall that occurred on Aug. 21. Within hours of the media release about the incident, the suspect turned himself in at LSU Police Department.
Christopher Quinnon Brady, 20, of Baton Rouge, was arrested for simple battery at about 6:30 p.m. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and released. Brady told investigators that he was the person described in the incident. After further questioning he admitted to having committed the battery.
Brady is an LSU student.
On Tuesday LSU Police received a report from female student who advised that at about 10:05 a.m., she had been approached by a suspect in Patrick Taylor Hall. The suspect claimed to be an art student and requested to take pictures of the victim, which she agreed. The suspect then requested specific poses, which the victim felt were inappropriate and refused. The suspect then demanded other poses and at one point the victim was pushed by the suspect.
The victim was able to get away from the area and contacted LSUPD.
LSU Police continue urge members of the LSU community to practice safety awareness and to report crimes or suspicious activity to police as soon as possible.
