Jindal to speak at Republican Convention

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — He may not be the vice presidential candidate, but Governor Bobby Jindal will speak at the Republican Convention, according to the Times-Picayune.

There's no word on what role he'll have at the convention, but the newspaper says he won't be the keynote speaker - that'll be done by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

The convention is later this month in Tampa, Florida.
