BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Louisiana State Police had to shut down part of Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge overnight.
The road closure happened after a vehicle crashed on Jefferson Highway near Director Drive and flipped. It happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
We’re told that a suspected meth lab was contained within the car.
State Police say the two people inside the car were thrown out when it flipped. Crews had to work throughout the day to restore a power pole that was knocked down during the crash.
